Bill Martin - Partner
In addition to being a founding partner of Amplify Car Wash Advisors, Bill Martin is the current owner and operator of Metro Express Car Wash, where his expertise lies in his demonstrated ability to extract the most value per location. Mr. Martin served as past president of the International Car Wash Association and was a 2012 inductee of the ICA Car Wash Hall of Fame. Since 1969, Mr. Martin has been involved with building and exiting successful branded chains such as Rain Tunnel Car Wash and Nu Look Car Wash. He was also one of the original founders of Car Wash Partners, which later rebranded as Mister Car Wash.
By having Mr. Martin at the helm alongside Jeff Pavone, Amplify is able to leverage Mr. Martin’s adept knowledge of car wash operations to advise clients on operational strategy with the explicit goal of maximizing business value.
Jeff Pavone - Partner
Jeff Pavone is a leading advisor to the car wash industry, successfully completing more than $1 billion in car wash-related transactions. A lifelong entrepreneur, Mr. Pavone is the owner of Commercial Plus Group and Amplify Car Wash Advisors. Under his leadership, Commercial Plus quickly scaled to a market leader at the forefront of M&A advisory, real estate brokerage, and financing for the car wash industry, completing complex transactions for some of the most well-known and widely respected car wash chains in the country. Leveraging his longstanding relationships with owners and operators, Mr. Pavone partnered with car wash veteran Bill Martin in early 2020 to launch Amplify Car Wash Advisors, which builds off the Commercial Plus foundation to address the evolving needs of car wash owners and operators.
Outside of providing advisory services on a nationwide scale, Mr. Pavone is also a real estate investor. Prior to Commercial Plus, he was the Co-Founder of Law.com and Founder of Medical.com and National Law Resource.
Brad Mann - Vice President of M&A
Brad Mann served as a Director on the International Car Wash Association Board from 2017-2020. He was instrumental in 2020 at ICWG in the Merger and Acquisitions development in their key markets. "I have a strong desire to help fellow operators reach their goals as it is a great time to be in the Car Wash industry. I also have a passion for people and operations, and building out a customer focused car wash organization. In 2019 we built a record breaking membership customer base, and in late 2019 International Car Wash Group acquired The Wash Factory Car Wash. I chose the car wash business based on my desires of building a team and seeing customers instantly satisfied with a clean car." In 2010, Brad started The Wash Factory Car Wash in Denton,Tx. The brand was federally trademarked and grew to 5 locations in Texas and 2 in Oklahoma. In 2007 Brad was recruited by FIS, providers of healthcare documentation services to major health care providers, and with FIS he delivered three years of above quota sales before taking the entrepreneurial plunge. Brad Mann started his career at IBM as a sales leader and was consistently ranked in the top 1 percent of all Salesmen. While at IBM he earned a spot at Harvard University’s year- long leadership program.
Lanese Barnett - Vice President of Business Development
Lanese Barnett brings more than a decade of experience in the car wash industry specializing in brand management, marketing, and corporate communication. Previously working on the operator side, Barnett has a deep knowledge of what it takes to run a successful multi-site car wash operation. "The car wash industry is dynamic and evolving at a rapid pace. This is an exciting time to be involved and help car wash owners continue to grow." She is a current director on the Southwest Car Wash Association Board. Prior to joining the car wash industry, she was an account executive at a marketing communications agency in Dallas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
William Koenig - Senior Advisor
Mr. Koenig has over 25-years of diverse financial services experience in the areas of investment banking; corporate finance; leverage finance; subordinated debt financing; equipment leasing; commercial real estate finance; and both primary and secondary loan syndications and trading. Mr. Koenig has completed over $2.0 billion in M&A and capital markets transactions encompassing management led buyouts; sell side engagements; international financings; complex commercial real estate; and various structured debt transactions. Previously, Mr. Koenig was an Executive Vice President with Western Alliance Bank (NYSE: WAL) in Phoenix, Arizona where he managed various specialty banking groups including corporate finance, leverage finance, equipment leasing, municipal finance, resort finance, and the Bank’s equity investments in several SBIC funds. Prior to WAL, he was an SVP/Manager of Comerica Bank’s Arizona based Middle Market Banking Group. Prior to Comerica, Mr. Koenig was a Strategy Consultant with Anderson Consulting in Los Angeles where he advised clients on various aspects of brand strategy, efficiency enhancement, and value creation through EVA frameworks. Prior to Anderson, he was employed as a Vice President in the Real Estate Industries Division of City National Bank (CNB) in Los Angeles where he was responsible for financing numerous large construction projects and established the bank’s real estate mezzanine finance program. Prior to CNB, Mr. Koenig was employed with both Weyerhaeuser Reality Ventures and with Home Capital Development Group where he was a financial analyst in their respective real estate private equity groups, responsible for analyzing the viability of both new commercial and subdivision development projects. Mr. Koenig holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California where he graduated with Beta Gamma Sigma Honors and a B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University. He serves on the board of Alliance of M&A Professionals, Phoenix Chapter. Mr. Koenig is registered with FINRA and holds the Series 63 and 79 licenses.
Harris Ho - Senior Analyst
Mr. Ho joined the Commercial Plus team full-time in 2017, having previously completed a successful M&A Analyst Internship with the firm and with Dinan and Company prior. His transaction exposure spans a variety of sectors, including consumer, aerospace and defense, and general industrials among others. His prior investment banking experience includes a stint with Dinan and Company. He earned a BS in Finance from Arizona State University.
Nathan Dacasin - Analyst
Nathan Dacasin brings financial analysis expertise with an extensive background in consulting and venture capital. Prior to joining the Amplify Car Wash Advisors team, Mr. Dacasin was a consulting analyst at Mercer Investment Consulting and a business analyst at The Founders Factory London. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Middlesex University, completing his thesis work with Guy’s Hospital-King’s College in London.
Gina Palmer - Director of Operations
Georgina Palmer is Director of Operations for Amplify, and is responsible for all aspects related to operations management, budget management, regulatory compliance, internal controls, cost management, and performance reporting. Prior to joining the team in 2015, Georgina was an underwriting manager for one of the top banks in the country. She previously held her real estate license in Michigan and co-owned a residential rough frame construction company. Georgina is a licensed real estate designated broker in the state of Arizona (#BR661617000) and Missouri (BRA 2020014053), an active notary, and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
